This is the official Web site for the town of Farmington, New York, the gateway to the beautiful Finger Lakes Region. Located on the state Thruway, the town is home to roughly 15,000 residents and boasts miles of rolling hills and farmland as well as a growing commercial hub, mostly centered on the community's major highways, Routes 96 and 332. This site contains information about the town's many assets as well as information about local government contacts and happenings. In the upper right hand corner of your bill will be your account number and CID which you will need to register for a new account.

2025 Town & County Taxes have been sent out the end of December. 

Please see the links below to view and/or pay your bill. 

*Payments Accepted: Cash, Check (made payable to Michelle Finley Reciever of Taxes), or Card (with a fee). The Card fee is the same if paid online or in person. If your using a card, we can ONLY accept FULL payments. Payments are accepted also in our brown drop box, located in front of the Town Hall. If you include your full tax bill, a reciept will be mailed to you. 

Payments are due by January 31st, 2025 without interest, and MUST be post marked by the USPS by the 31st to avoid it being returned (to include interest). First installments MUST be made in January. Only the exact amount will be accepted for payments (including full and partial payments).Taxes must be paid in FULL before 8:00AM April 1st, 2025, or USPS post marked March 31st, 2025. Anything after that time, all unpaid taxes will be passed to the Ontario County Treasurer.  Please refer to your tax bill for more information.  

*Please note that the Town of Farmington`s 2025 Town & County Tax bills ARE CORRECT. (This error was only in the City of Canandaigua).  

*Please note that for VIEWING taxes, the Username is public and the Password is TCSTaxLookUp. 

The Farmington Town Board meets at least two times a month. 

 The next meeting would be Tuesday January 14, 2025. The 2025 Town Organizational meeting will start at 6 pm followed by the regular meeting at 7 pm. The second meeting of the month will be January 28,2025.

This is a virtual Town Hall and in person meeting where staff and residents can call in and listen to the board meeting. More information will be provided as we get closer to the meeting date.

 The Public Works committee meets at 7:30 am and Town Operations committee meets at 9 AM both in the Town Hall on Tuesday of the Town Board meeting day. Please confirm with the Supervisor's office for times and locations.

Normally Draft agendas and resolutions are posted on this site the Friday before each Town Board meeting and updated the day of the board meeting.

Planning Board and Zoning Board agendas are normally available five days prior to the meeting date. Meetings start at 7pm unless other wise listed on the Town calendar.
